Kobe steel is trying to identify the range of “data fraud”. The following list of companies that used or maybe used Kobe steel’s products.

Toyota, Nissan, Honda, Mazda, Subaru, and Mitsubishi Motors, those companies purchased aluminum directly from Kobe, but all of them issued statements said that there is no security problem, while now they are checking whether there are any effects of the other automotive parts.
Daihatsu represents that they never buy steels from Kobe directly, but their suppliers do, and there is no safety issues report up to now.

Rolls-Royce represents it has bought Kobe steel, but not used it yet. Hyundai, Kia, SUZUKI, and Denso, all of them stated they used some Kobe’s products in a degree.

Mitsubishi heavy said some of the products used Kobe steel, including Regional Jet, Rockets, and H-2A rocket. But Mitsubishi Heavy also declared that there is no problem before launching the rocket.

IHI, a Japanese company, said its engines used Kobe steel, but did not indicate which kind of engines. Part of these companies which purchased Kobe steel are seeking compensation now.
