The Representatives of Bluestar Attended the International Business Forum of Mexico Zacatecas
Fresnillo, Zac.- The Mayor, Saúl Monreal ávila, held the inauguration of the First Mexico-China International Business Forum under the theme “Fresnillo: A business door with China”, which took place at the José González Echeverría Theater.
Monreal ávila, stressed that the goal is to know the Chinese investments that are already in Fresnillo, but also that entrepreneurs are willing to create value chains, so that Asian companies can buy fresnillenses inputs.
There is a great opportunity for fresnillenses entrepreneurs to reach China, there are areas of opportunity that have not been exploited, said the First Edil.
José Manuel Escamilla Jaime, director of Economic Development and organizer of the Forum, said that for decades there has been a commercial relationship between Mexico and China, but what is sought is to enhance it and that Fresnillenses get involved.
There are currently four Chinese companies in Fresnillo and what is sought is that there is a direct link with the municipality to generate more investments, taking into account that Mexico is the second largest trading partner for China in Latin America.
Three specific topics, Market Opportunities, Potentials and the Role of Asian Capital in Mexico and Fresnillo were discussed at the International Forum.
The moderator, Renata Avila, was the one who interacted with the panelists, the Chinese, Zeng Chijian, Tan Zhengfei and Eduardo Belmotes, representatives and general manager, respectively, of a Chinese company in Fresnillo. In addition to Miguel Hernández Delgadillo, businessman and Emma Rodríguez Sucunza, president of the association of women entrepreneurs in Fresnillo.
During the talk it was highlighted that China is a strategic ally that has to be taken into account, because despite the commercial decline in the world, the Chinese market has remained and Fresnillo has a lot to offer, since in commercial importance, it is the better positioned municipality, in addition to one in five jobs in the state offered in Fresnillo.
It was noted that El Mineral occupies first place in silver production and second place in gold, in addition to being one of the main exporters of Chile, to mention something.
Monreal ávila said that with this International Forum a precedent is set in the entity, since Fresnillo has become a development pole and areas of opportunity have to be created and the municipality will generate the formalities for more companies to be installed and the municipality will supply them with basic services.
